Baby Naming Ceremony

A Baby Naming or Welcome to the Family is a non-religious ceremony to welcome and officially introduce the baby or child to family and friends. The ceremony and accompanying certificates do not have any legal status.

A baby naming is a wonderful way to welcome your beautiful new baby while Welcome to Our Family may be considered for older children or teenagers who may be joining your family. This could include adopted children.

There is no set format for a naming ceremony, I would work with you to ensure it is exactly what you want. As your Celebrant I would prepare and coordinate the ceremony. However, I do offer a DYI package. You may have a family member who would love to organise the ceremony.

Do It Yourself (DYI) Naming Ceremony Package which includes your script for the day, two PDF files Naming Certificate and Godparent Certificates
